Nina was appointed Group Chief Marketing officer of Barclays plc in 2023, with a remit across brand, events, insights, marketing transformation and sponsorship, including partnerships with platforms such as Barclays Women Super League, Wimbledon and Lord’s. Nina joined from Verizon where she was SVP, Consumer Segment Marketing. Prior to Verizon, Nina spent 8 years at O2/Telefonica UK as CMO and head of the consumer and SMB mobile business. Earlier in her career, Nina held senior marketing roles at Barclays, IHG and Diageo, alongside NED and Trustee positions. Nina is an avid runner, a wannabe golfer, a keen reader and, most importantly, she is married to Brodie and mother to Michaela and Sebastian.

Paul Barber joined Brighton & Hove Albion FC as Chief Executive in June 2012. He was appointed Deputy Chairman in November 2018. Prior to joining Brighton, Paul was the first British football executive to lead a club in to Major League Soccer with Vancouver Whitecaps FC in March 2011. Paul made the move to North America after over half a decade at Tottenham Hotspur FC, where he was the club’s Executive Director. Previously, Paul occupied several senior commercial, marketing and communications roles at The Football Association. In addition to over 25 years working in professional football, Paul spent more than a decade in senior positions with Barclays Bank, Inchcape and Ogilvy & Mather.

Nikki Doucet is the CEO of Women’s Super League Football, the independent organisation responsible for running England’s top two tiers of women’s professional football – the Barclays Women’s Super League and the Barclays Women’s Super League 2. Nikki has over 20 years of experience spanning finance, investment banking, consumer goods and sport industries. She has worked in private equity and held roles in investment banking and within venture capital firms before moving to Nike, where she held senior executive roles over eight years in North America and UK & Ireland, most recently as the General Manager of the Nike Women’s business.

Mario Malavé is the Co-Founder & COO of Mercury13, a multi-club ownership group focused on women’s football. He serves on the boards of Mercury13, FC Como Women, Bristol City Women FC and FC Badalona Women. Previously, he co-founded Wagr, a sports betting startup later acquired by Yahoo Sports, where he served as VP of Sports Betting. He began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, and later worked as a venture capital investor at Playground Global and in football operations at LAFC. Mario holds a BA from NYU and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

As the Managing Director of YouTube UK & Ireland, Alison’s remit involves working with Government and policy makers and leading partnerships across the broadcast, communications, music and creative sectors to ensure British talent thrives globally. Before joining Google in 2011, she held roles in advertising and worked alongside government departments, including the Foreign Office and MI5. A diversity advocate, Alison is an active member of Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership (WACL) and a vocal champion for the growth of women’s football. Committed to inspiring the next generation, she also volunteers with Speakers for Schools, providing career guidance to secondary school students.

Jack is the current CEO of UK Athletics. During the last 4 years he has overseen a financial turnaround, 10 medals won by British athletes in the Paris Olympics – the best result since 1984, and Athletic Ventures (a JV between UKA, London Marathon and the Great Run Company) is delivering events for our athletes to shine. Prior to UKA Jack was CEO at British Swimming where he oversaw a hugely successful Team GB performance at the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2021. The Olympic team claimed a best-ever haul of eight medals and the Paralympic team was the most successful sport competing for Paralympics GB. Jack is a former European 5000m champion and two time Olympian. His championship record from the European 5000m in Stuttgart has now lasted nearly 40 years. After retiring from running, Jack worked for adidas in the UK, Germany and the USA.

Director of Women’s Football and Para Football, The FA

Sue is the FA’s Director of Women’s Football and Para Football and is leading the UK’s bid for the 2035 Women’s World Cup. Sue was previously Chief Operating Officer at England Rugby, leading strategy, people, finance and technology, as well as the women’s game and inclusion. Prior to that she was a Partner at global financial advisory firm KPMG, leading on M&A and infrastructure projects. Alongside her working career, Sue also played rugby union for and captained Wasps and England, both 15s and 7s. She won three Six Nations Grand Slams and two World Cup silver medals, and she remains England Rugby’s highest try scorer, with 61 tries in 59 tests.

Kate Veronneau is Director of Women’s Strategy at Zwift, where she champions the growth and visibility of women’s cycling. A former college basketball player and pro cyclist, she joined Zwift a decade ago to help launch Zwift Academy, an innovative virtual talent-ID program that created a new pathway to the pro peloton. Today, she leads Zwift’s title sponsorship of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift—a race that launched in 2022 and quickly became one of the world’s most-watched women’s sporting events, reshaping what’s possible for women’s cycling.Through Zwift’s Watch the Femmes movement, Kate brings together industry, media and community to turn that visibility into participation and create lasting change. She still loves riding fast—but these days, she’s just as focused on helping the entire sport pick up the pace.

In her current role as Executive Director of the Women’s Game at England Rugby, she oversees growth of players, fans and followers to build future sustainability. Crux recently acquired the Première Ligue Féminine’s Division 1 team, Montpellier HSC Féminines, and Sweden’s FC Rosengård. A former player, captain for New Zealand, Champions League winner and Olympian, she has held senior roles across governance and club football, including leadership positions with FIFA and as a sporting director, giving her a rare 360-degree view of players, rights-holders and brands.

Sky is the UK’s biggest investor in and broadcaster of women’s sport, and in her role Jo brings together storytelling, insight and partnerships to drive audience growth and commercial opportunity. She is passionate about ensuring that increased visibility translates into lasting impact for women and girls. She is also an active voice in shaping the future of women’s sport, working with partners across the industry to unlock systemic growth at scale.

Former Lioness, Chelsea Legend & Trustee, Chelsea Foundation

Millie Bright OBE is one of the most decorated and influential players of her generation, playing a defining role in an extraordinary period of growth for both Chelsea Women and the Lionesses. During 12 years at Chelsea, Millie made a club-record 314 appearances and won 20 trophies, including eight Women’s Super League titles and six FA Cups. She was appointed Chelsea captain in 2023. Internationally, Millie earned 88 England caps, helped the Lionesses win UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and captained England to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Final in 2023. She was awarded an OBE in 2024 for services to football. Following her retirement in 2026, Millie continues her relationship with Chelsea as a Trustee of the Chelsea Foundation and Club Ambassador. Having experienced first-hand the transformation of women’s football, she brings a unique perspective on leadership, high-performance culture, athlete influence and what the next generation of women’s sport needs to succeed.

A respected leader in sports business and strategy, she specialises in governance, fan engagement, brand growth, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and the commercial development of women’s sport. Previously CEO of Lewes FC, Maggie oversaw record attendances, significant commercial expansion and award-winning fan engagement initiatives, cementing the club’s reputation as a pioneer in purpose and equality. Beyond her club roles, she co-founded and hosted the Expected Goals podcast, serves as a Non-Executive Director for Women in Football, and sat on the Premier League’s EDI Standard Panel. Recognised on BBC Woman’s Hour’s Power List of the most influential women in UK sport, Maggie is also co-founder of Equal Playing Field.

Rosie Spaulding brings more than 20 years of experience across the global sports, media, and entertainment industry, with a track record of building and scaling global events, leagues, and venues from start-up through execution. Most recently, she served as President of League One Volleyball (LOVB), where she played a central role in creating and launching LOVB Pro and its inaugural six teams, establishing the league’s competitive framework, operational foundation, and cultural identity. Previously, she has held leadership roles across major sports properties including Super Bowl 50, Rugby World Cup Sevens and 34th America’s Cup – and has supported and advised organizations including SailGP, World Rugby, FIFA and Rugby World Cup through her own consultancy.

Matt Rogan co-founded Two Circles in 2011, leading the business as Chief Executive until 2016, through acquisition by WPP and thereafter as Executive Chairman, chairing the WPP subsidiary Board. Bruin Capital purchased the business from WPP in 2020, with Matt stepping down as Executive Chairman on completion of the deal. Matt now spends his time on Board and advisory roles. He is a Non-Executive Director of Racecourse Media Group and Built for Athletes and sits on the Major Events Panel for UK Sport. Matt also advises top teams in a range of sports. His last book, ‘All to Play For: How Sport Can Reboot Our Future’ was shortlisted for the Sunday Times Sports Book of the Year in 2022. Simon Morris is Adobe’s Vice President of International Marketing. In this role, he has strategic responsibility for shaping and scaling Adobe’s brand across EMEA, APAC, and Latin America. He leads a multidisciplinary team overseeing Brand Experiences and Partnerships, Communications and Social Media, Advertising, and Performance Marketing – operating across more than 90 countries and 50 languages. Simon has played a pivotal role in the company’s digital transformation, helping transition Adobe Creative Cloud from a packaged software product to a global, subscription-based platform. Simon spearheaded Adobe’s sponsorship of the Women’s FA Cup, an initiative designed to empower players, clubs, fans, and creators to tell their stories using Adobe tools like Adobe Express. In recognition of his leadership and advocacy for gender equity in sport, Simon was named to the RAISE Power 100 in Women’s Sport. Before Adobe, Simon served as Vice President of Global Marketing at ClickSoftware (acquired by Salesforce). He is also an active mentor, supporting students through the School of Marketing, ORT UK, and Founders4Schools.

With over 25 years of extensive experience in the football industry, Hannah Buckley recently joined Bristol City Women FC as Chief Executive under the multi-club ownership group, Mercury13. Her appointment signifies a pivotal step in a career dedicated to the strategic development and professionalisation of the women’s game. Previously, Hannah spent eight years leading key strategic initiatives for the Barclays Women’s Super League, the world’s most-followed women’s league. Throughout her distinguished career, including senior roles at The Football Association and within the charity sector, she has overseen more than £500 million in investment for football facilities nationwide. She launched the first-ever women’s stadium design guidance in collaboration with industry experts to elevate standards on and off the field, and pioneered the “Fan Choice” project, an initiative that enhances the matchday experience. Beyond her executive leadership, Hannah serves as a Non-Executive Director for the Cymru Football Foundation and Somerset County Cricket Club, furthering her commitment to enhancing both professional and grassroots sports across the South West and Wales.

Laura Montgomery is CEO and Co-Founder of Glasgow City FC, Scotland’s most successful women’s football club. Laura co-founded the club with her friend Carol Anne Stewart in 1998 while studying law at the University of Glasgow, with a simple ambition: to create opportunities for girls and women that they never had themselves and build the best team in Scotland. Having initially run the club as a volunteer, Laura took on the role of CEO full-time in 2020. She also played for and captained Glasgow City’s senior team before retiring from playing in 2010. Under her leadership, Glasgow City has established an extraordinary record, including 16 Scottish league titles – 14 consecutively – and two UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final appearances, alongside more Scottish Cup victories than any other club. Today, Laura is focused on building a sustainable future for women’s football, from elite performance to a complete academy pathway providing opportunities for girls of all ages. She sits on the Board of the Scottish Women’s Professional Football League, the Women’s Football Working Group for European Football Clubs and is a UEFA Delegate.

Maria is a Senior Principal at Populous and EMEA Design Quality Lead. Since joining the practice in 2013, she has proved her design leadership on several large-scale sports and entertainment buildings. In 2019 she was awarded RIBA Journal’s Rising Star. As Design Quality Lead, Maria oversees the design standards across all regional architectural projects. Her crowning achievement has been the design and delivery of the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, for which she was the lead designer, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of design from concept through to completion; a five year journey. In addition to this, Maria was also Project Architect for the multi-use Tottenham Experience building as part of the wider stadium development. Having taught for several years at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Oxford Brookes University, Maria has a keen interest in the architectural education and the link between academia and professional success.

As the inaugural Managing Director of the Netball Super League (NSL), Claire Nelson has been a driving force behind its landmark relaunch in 2025. Her leadership, vision, and passion for unlocking the indisputable power of women and girls through sport were pivotal in unveiling a new era for the League. Their first season saw record growth in match attendance and broadcast viewing figures, with the Grand Final at The O2 in London attracting the biggest ever netball crowd for an England Netball event. And coming hot off the back of a history-making Season and Grand Final in 2026, the NSL is scaling new heights on and off the court. As the most played team sport by women in the UK, the NSL is taking netball on an ambitious journey towards professionalisation, with all games broadcast live across Sky Sports and BBC, and a focus on innovation to deliver an unparalleled fan experience for new audiences.

Sally Bolton OBE is a highly experienced sports executive and former Chief Executive of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, where she led Wimbledon through a period of significant change and development, including the Covid pandemic, the evolution of The Championships and the Club’s ambitious plans for its future. Before becoming Chief Executive, she held senior roles in strategic planning, operations and corporate affairs at the AELTC. Previously, Sally was Managing Director of the Organising Committee for the London 2017 World Athletics Championships and led the delivery of the highly successful Rugby League World Cup 2013, for which she was awarded an OBE. Her earlier career included leadership roles in rugby league and rugby union, sports consulting with Deloitte and running her own consultancy. Sally has also been a Board Member and Senior Independent Director of UK Sport and Chair of its Major Events Panel.

Ally Flan is a content creator and presenter with a background in finance, specialising in sport and digital media. She has worked with leading brands and broadcasters across major competitions including the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Women’s EURO, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, WSL and Women’s FA Cup. In 2025, Women’s Sport Trust research found that Ally generated 39 million TikTok views, the highest of any creator analysed in its report. Through her work, Ally brings a unique perspective on how women’s sport is being consumed online, how creators are connecting new audiences with the game, and the increasingly important role digital storytelling is playing in the growth of women’s sport.

Giulia Mazzia is the Chief Revenue Officer of Chelsea FC Women, one of the most established and successful clubs in women’s football. She leads all commercial revenue verticals, including partnerships, matchday revenue, and the development of new and emerging income streams. With over a decade of experience across elite football, Giulia has held senior commercial roles at Arsenal FC, AC Milan, and Manchester City, working at the intersection of sport, culture, and commerce. At Chelsea FC Women, she is responsible for ensuring that innovation and creativity translate into sustainable commercial outcomes; balancing ambition with governance, scale, and long-term value. Her work focuses on turning audience growth into durable revenue, while creating partnerships that push boundaries without compromising trust, legacy, or brand integrity.

Julie Uhrman is Co-Founder of Angel City Football Club (ACFC), Los Angeles’ professional women’s soccer team that debuted in 2022 in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). ACFC is one of the world’s only majority female-founded and operated professional sports teams and was named the most valuable women’s sports team globally, with a valuation of $335 million. Uhrman co-founded ACFC alongside Academy Award-winning actress and activist Natalie Portman and technology venture capitalist Kara Nortman. A recognized founder and influential voice in global sports, Uhrman was named Innovator of the Year 2025 by the Los Angeles Business Journal and to the LA 500 List in 2025. Forbes also recognized her as one of America’s Most Powerful Women in Sports 2025. Under Uhrman’s leadership, Angel City Football Club has earned significant recognition, including USA TODAY Women of the Year in 2026 and ESPN’s Humanitarian Team of the Year at the 2024 ESPY Awards, in recognition of its groundbreaking community impact model. Prior to co-founding ACFC, Uhrman held senior leadership roles across entertainment and technology, including EVP and General Manager of OTT Ventures at Lionsgate, Head of Platform Business Development at Jaunt, and founder of OUYA, a pioneering Android-based game console. She is a proud mom of two and resides in her hometown, Los Angeles.

Craig Hepburn is an AI strategist, Perplexity Fellow, and CEO of 1706 Studio – an AI strategy and deployment consultancy in London and Edinburgh. He spent close to thirty years in senior digital roles at Microsoft, Nokia, Art Basel and UEFA. As UEFA’s Chief Digital Officer he built the digital team, launched the UEFA.tv streaming platform, and ran the Innovation Hub. He now works with senior executives and business leaders across industries on agentic AI: building agents, designing AI first operating models, and rethinking how organisations work. He writes Ground Truth, a publication on the economics of artificial intelligence.

Anita Asante is one of the most accomplished and respected figures in women’s football, with a playing career spanning almost two decades at the highest level. A 71-cap England international, she competed at two FIFA Women’s World Cups, three UEFA Women’s EUROs and represented Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games. At club level, Anita was part of Arsenal’s historic 2006/07 quadruple-winning side, including the UEFA Women’s Cup, and also played professionally in the US and Sweden before returning to England with Chelsea and Aston Villa. Since retiring in 2022, Anita has built a career across coaching, broadcasting and football leadership. She now plays a key role with World Sevens Football as a Player Advisor, bringing a player-led voice to the development of the competition and helping shape its strategy, relationships and place within the wider women’s football ecosystem.

As a passionate advocate for women in sport, Charlotte is dedicated to sharing her experiences and inspiring the next generation of female athletes. Nicole is passionate about using football as a force for change – for women, communities, and the future of the game. As owner and CEO of Worcester City Women FC, a proudly independent, community-rooted, football club, and Director of Worcester City Women in the Community CIC, Nicole continues to push for better opportunities for girls and women to thrive in football both on and off the pitch. With over 20 years of experience across grassroots, professional, and educational settings, she has worked as a player, coach, club leader, consultant, and educator, giving her a unique 360° perspective on football. Her career has included influential roles at the English Football League, where she collaborated with 72 professional clubs on strategy, governance, and growth, and at Tottenham Hotspur, where she developed fan engagement and commercial initiatives to connect the club with its supporters. She has also shaped the next generation of football leaders through teaching roles at The Football Business Academy, University of Salford, and AMOS Sport Business School. As a regular media contributor on women’s football, she is an advocate for the game on national platforms.

Kirsten is Director of Strategy, Commercial and Investment at The Sports Consultancy (TSC). She is TSC’s Head of Women’s Sport with a focus on amplifying the positive impact of women’s sport by unlocking greater value for the decision-makers shaping its future. In her current role, Kirsten works with a wide range of clients in the UK and internationally helping them with projects to define their future direction, optimise their commercial revenues, understand and monetise their audiences, build effective organisations, and support investment-led transformation and value creation. Kirsten has worked in sport and major events for over 15 years. Having trained as a lawyer with city firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, she moved into sport and major events via a secondment with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then, she has worked in the UK and New Zealand for the public sector and PwC, advising clients including Sport New Zealand and the New Zealand Olympic Committee. She is also a non-executive Director for British Curling.

Having built her early career in sports marketing and finance with the Chicago Bulls and Morgan Stanley, Jenny’s expert analysis is frequently featured in news outlets such as the BBC, Sky Sports, and The Athletic.

Caroline has been a trailblazer in the coverage of the Women’s Professional game in the UK leading the brilliant and innovative output on Sky Sports since its launch in 2021. A presenter on Sky’s coverage of the EFL, Caroline was also the first female presenter of Match Day Live for the Premier League and has hosted FIFA World Cups, UEFA Competitions and the Olympics for the BBC. In 2023, she broke another glass ceiling when she became the first woman to present the iconic, Soccer Saturday, to huge success and plaudits across all broadcast critics. Caroline is the face of women’s football here in the UK and is a leading event and conference host in the game working on a variety of events. Aside from football, Caroline is one of the world’s leading Netball commentators, and is a huge fan of NFL and has presented numerous Super Bowl Championships for the BBC. She is a Director at Chelmsford City Football Club and founded the long running BBC Non League Football Show.

She also delivered Samsung’s 3 year headline partnership for Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards. Her partners accessed Condé Nast’s reach, scale and influence across digital, print, social and events – bringing cultural storytelling to life with impact and authenticity. Claire hosts a regular Q&A series with industry leaders, writes the occasional travel feature, and helps run the Barnes Charity Fashion Show. She runs the coastal paths in North Devon to clear her head.

Kate Mason is a TV presenter, podcaster and documentary-maker who has presented live sport for over a decade. She hosts The Athletic’s flagship football show and their weekend Tactical Preview. She has presented major sports rights for TNT Sports, including the most recent Women’s Ashes, and with them was the first woman to present men’s Test cricket for UK television. Away from broadcast she was the second woman ever to be shortlisted for Columnist of the Year at the SJA British Sports Journalism Awards, an achievement she has repeated. Before the men’s World Cup this year she visited New York City to write about the development of women’s sports fandom, a topic she’s excited to discuss at RAISE.
